Caring Ministry
Loving Supper Ministry
The Loving Supper ministry invites volunteers to prepare and deliver a meal to church members who are experiencing a loss or challenging life circumstances. Your participation makes a strong statement of love and comfort during difficult times. Volunteers are part of a rotating team and we provide you with the name of the meal recipient. Love and Concern
This group visits church members and relatives of church members who cannot come to church. They make monthly visits to local nursing homes as well as visits to members confined to their homes. In addition to monthly visitation, this group provides and delivers a fruit basket to our members who have recently been released from the hospital and are not currently members of a Sunday School class. Intercessory Prayer Ministry
 This team of prayer warriors prays for our members, their loved ones and other prayer concerns. If you are in need of prayer from this group, please contact a member of the church staff. You may also request prayers by completing a prayer request form located throughout the church. Please return this form to the wooden box in the narthex or return it to the Welcome Center. Please indicate if your prayers are to be held confidential or if they may be shared with our e-mail prayer ministry team.
Whether you have been involved in the ministry of intercession before, or are just beginning, you would be a welcomed member of the Intercessory Prayer Team.

Our congregation is made up of many people with many needs. We have members who wish to come to Sunday school and Worship Service but cannot drive. We also have members who need assistance during the week getting to their doctors appointments. The goal of the Transportation Ministry is to provide transportation to all that are in need. If you can help by occasionally volunteering your time in this way please contact Judy Jonesat 824-8725x1031 or email her at judy.jones@hfumc.org.
Stephen Ministry offers those who are hurting or in crisis with Christian love, quality and confidential care and support through regular one-to-one visits of a trained lay caregiver. For more information click here.
