Children First is a mission outreach program of HFUMC which provides quality early childhood education to the families in the Hendersonville area. As a major program of the church, Children First is committed to the following goals. . .

To accept children of all faiths, and all socioeconomic, or ethnic backgrounds.

To encourage emotional, social, physical and mental development through a variety of age-appropriate activities.

To teach basic Christian values of love, kindness, tolerance, and sharing while encouraging children to value themselves and others.

To strengthen family life through parent conferences, educational programs, and available resources of the church as needs arise.

To make every effort to provide quality, affordable childcare to all families including those who lack adequate financial resources.
